Meet the Coaches

Camp is led by Coach Ahmed Elmallah, owner of Gold Coast Table Tennis Club, with Tai Abrams assisting.

Head Coach and Camp Director

Coach Ahmed owns Gold Coast Table Tennis Club. He was selected for Egypt's National Team at age 9, became the Egyptian National Coach by 23, and the National Coach of Saudi Arabia by 27.

In the U.S., he has helped New York City and Long Island schools build their table tennis programs. He currently coaches Paralympic gold medalist Tahl Liebowitz along with dozens of kids and adult students.

Tai Abrams

Tai Abrams

Assistant Coach

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Tai moved to Port Washington at the age of 8. He graduated from Schreiber High School in 2025 and will continue his education as a Sophomore at Rutgers University this Fall.

Tai has been training in table tennis under Coach Ahmed for several years and has experience as a CIT at Lake Greeley Camp in Pennsylvania.
